Gel Plate Printmaking Workshop with artist John Rosis

Join artist and educator John Rosis in The Studio at 90 North for a hands-on gel plate printmaking workshop - no prior experience needed!

Gel plate printing is a technique where acrylic paint is rolled onto a gel plate, then materials like leaves, flowers, stencils or strings are placed onto the plate, and finally a sheet of paper is pressed onto the prepared plate by hand, to create a unique image. These steps can be repeated as many times as you like to create one-of-a-kind visuals that are rich in texture & color.

Participants will leave the workshop with multiple original prints & a new favorite creative outlet.

Tickets: $50

Tickets include:

  • Admission to the workshop

  • Materials including paper, paint, stencils & use of printmaking tools.

  • Light refreshments

We are currently at capacity for this date but will let you know if tickets become available or if we schedule future sessions.
