Perry Lawson Fine Art presents Kahori Kamiya: Sacred Threads, a solo exhibition featuring paintings and sculpture by Kahori Kamiya, a Japanese-born artist now based in Rockland County, NY. Raised in a culture that infuses daily life with spirituality, she draws from Japanese traditions that honor the natural world, ancestral rituals, and the unseen forces that connect all beings. Her multidisciplinary practice—including sculpture, painting, video, and performance—is also deeply influenced by motherhood, exploring themes of nurture, devotion, and the cyclical nature of existence. Sacred Threads run through her work in both concept and form, linking personal experience with ancestral wisdom and bridging the physical and spiritual realms.
